South Africa has a great variety in eco-habitats and biomes. This has resulted in a lot of Private Nature Reserves and National Parks dotted across the entire country. From coastal forests and large river systems to towering mountains and grassy plains, South Africa has it all. South Africa is a great destination for a first time African Safari traveller.

With a country that has a greater population of Cape Fur Seals than humans it’s no wonder that Namibia is regarded by some as the ultimate Safari destination. Take a 4×4 adventure through the Namib Desert, go whale wathcing off the west coast or just enjoy the raw African nature in the central and northern reaches of the country.

Known for the mighty Zambezi River, Victoria Falls, untouched wilderness and friendly locals, Zambia is a must for every Safari enthusiast. From adventures such as tiger fishing, river rafting and houseboat safaris to relaxing riverside lodges, amazing wildlife encounters and spectacular cultural experiences. Zambia has something for everyone.

Who doesn’t want to experience the vastness of the Okavango Delta? Or the beauty of Botswana’s birdlife? And what about Leopards lazing in trees, Wild Dogs hunting antelope in the Savuti and herds of African Elephant numbering in their hundreds? If that’s not enough to spark a curiosity for a Botswana Safari then I don’t know what will.

Have you ever heard of the trapesing Elephants of Mana Pools? Or the elusive Green-backed Bartbet of the eastern highlands? How about the world-renowned Lake Kariba? If any of these sound familiar to you, then welcome to Zimbabwe. A country where its safari roots lie deep in the colonial years. Where wildlife roams truly free and where various cultures meet.
